Payday loans are small loans taken for a short period of time and then repaid on the day the borrower gets paid. In theory this is an excellent idea, but borrowers must be very careful from which lending agency they borrow from as there are many who overcharge on interest rates.

There are money lenders that have loans called the "post dated check loan". The borrower has to give the lender a post dated check for the amount borrowed plus the interest charged, dated for the day he or she will get paid. On the allotted day the money lender will deposit the check in his bank account if the borrower does not show up with the money. If the borrower does not have funds in the bank he will be liable for bank charges.
Should he not be able to pay the loan it will roll over to the following day that he will get his wages. The lender will add on the same amount of interest again for the extension period. If the borrower cannot come up with the money the loan will once again roll over and the interest will be added again. This is the type of system that can get people into serious financial trouble.
Tip! Most payday loan sites do not check your credit history or report so, even if you have a bad credit history you will still receive a loan. Check the FAQ section of the payday loan site so that you can be sure whether or not the site you are applying to will do a credit check.
